God’s Grace is Enough

Grace is more than just a girl’s name or something we say over our dinner.  Theologically speaking, grace is unmerited favor with God.  God’s grace came to us in the person of Jesus Christ.  The offer of God’s grace is everlasting life with him.  This everlasting life is not something that we have to wait for.  It begins as soon as we accept God’s free gift, Jesus, the person of Grace.  With Christ now alive in our hearts we have access to the throne of grace where we can find mercy and grace to help us in our time of need.  So God’s grace is not just a theological term.  It is God’s power.  It is divine enablement flowing in our lives.  By God’s grace we can do anything.  We overcome challenges by God’s grace.  We have strength to go on by God’s grace.  We minister to our fellow man by God’s grace.  We give of ourselves by God’s grace.  God’s grace is all we need.  God’s grace is enough.

  1. Good day, pastor. I’ve always believed that God’s grace is enough, that faith in Jesus Christ is enough for our salvation. I’m trying to start and study the bible again ’cause I feel the need and the urgency of doing so. However, I’ve come across this article “http://www.gospelway.com/salvation/salvation_by_faith.php” and I’m a bit confused cause it explains that baptism and works are essential to our salvation. Can you shed some light on it, particularly to it’s arguments regarding works and baptism? Thank you and God bless!
